Wow, it has been such a busy few weeks that I’ve completely forgotten to mention that The Buskers And Lou finally has its North American premiere date set!
In honour of this occasion, Buskers editor Peter Stewart and I thought it would be a good excuse to finally cut together an official teaser trailer. Check it out here:
As Buskers is based in and shot around Portland, so it is wonderful that our first US screening will take place an easy 15 minute drive north from Stumptown. I am really glad many of the cast and crew will get an opportunity to see their hard work up on the big screen for the first time.
The screening takes place Friday August 7th at 7:00 at the Fort Vancouver Library, 901 C. Street, Vancouver, WA 98660. Admission is free.
I’ve had a chance to attend CGIFF in the past, it is a wonderful festival put on by a dedicated team lead by the inexhaustible Breven Warren. I met her a few years back at Sundance, and to this day I’m not sure I’ve met a bigger enthusiast of films, filmmaking, and filmmakers.
